I am delighted that Emily Latour, retired Art Teacher, will be presenting a workshop on coiled yarn baskets. It is a simple technique which allows you to create all kinds of vessels and decorative items. The wrapping and building technique produces a very strong object that can be developed into a variety of shapes.

This workshop was fun and fairly easy once you got going. I am enjoying the basket making and using up lots of yarn that has been just hanging around. Thank you, Emiy and Sue!
So glad you liked it! I can’t wait to see the finished products!
