Do you spend too much time ripping out your knitting? You don’t have to! Gretchen Barton, TKGA Certified Master Knitter, will show you how to isolate your mistakes and fix them whether the mistakes are on your needle or in the rows below. You will learn the anatomy of a stitch, how to change knits to purls, making stitches sit correctly on your needle and fixing boo-boos in the rows below.
- A knitted swatch of about 30 stitches and 10 rows in stockinette stitch. Make mistakes intentionally all over the place! Knitting worsted yarn and size 8 needles will work just fine.
- Medium sized crochet hook or “fix it tool” (available at the shop)
- Extra double pointed needles
The cost of the workshop $20, payable on the day of the workshop (non-refundable). Services are taxable in NYS, so sales tax must be paid on the class fee. To register, click here, and indicate either “Fixing Mistakes Workshop” in the comment box. Seats are limited, so reserve yours early!
