Finishing Techniques with Gretchen Barton
Gretchen Barton is a certified Master Knitter with The Knitting Guild of America. She is providing a series of workshops designed to teach a variety of skills to the Advanced Beginner, Intermediate or Accomplished Knitter. Do you dread sewing your project pieces together, because it looks uneven? This workshop will help you make almost invisible seams and joins in your lovely pieces. Among the techniques you will learn are: bump-to-bump, mattress and kitchener stitches, and three needle bind off. Materials needed:
- Four 4”X4” swatches (any pattern will do) to put together
- Two sets of knitting needles
- Yarn needle
